AI DEVELOPMENT IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES

AI technology is not the new term , but the growing of AI is now faster because of its need . Nowadays AI is more used like recognise faces , run autonomous cars , internet of things etc. (i.e) from commerce and healthcare to transportation and cyber security.

In this AI technology , each decision made by the system is done by using the old data driven models created by machine learning . AI also ensures safe and secure transactions and implementations of work loads. In future there is the need for improvement of AI in standardisation of data , performance , interoperatability , usability, security and privacy .

China is a top manufacturing country , now it intends to be leader in many areas like (AI, renewable energy .. etc). China announced their intention to become “ A principal world centre of Artificial Intelligence innovations “ by 2030.

More population using internet (750 million people) in china , so AI play a fundamental role in their success . China published more number of research papers on AI than any other countries in the world . Companies like Tencent , Alibabe and Baidu shows more interest in AI development.

China’s company Sense Time become the world’s most valuable AI company which had developed AI technologies including face , image , object and text recognition ; medical image and video analysis ; remote sensing and auto driving systems. (for_more)

United states of america

United states have the largest number of AI companies which seems likely to become superpower of AI . Top companies like IBM, Microsoft , Google , Facebook and Amazon intends to develop AI application more.

Next to china , USA published more AI research papers. The government is mainly concentrating on AI robotics and computer technologies. Major tech companies are concentrating more on speech and image recognition by AI .

Although its present status is up to mark , the future become unclear because of countries activities – reduced funding for AI development and strict immigration restrictions for international research professionals (mainly restricting of Indian professionals). (for_more)

United kingdom is not the stranger to AI technology , it’s the present leader in AI. Although UK professionals have larger pool of talent , they have short of people with advanced tech skills.

Google’s famous DeepMind (DeepMind Technologies Limited was founded in Britain in 2010) beat Go’s grandmasters. DeepMind now have more than 250 researchers from mathematicians to neuroscientists to develop new technologies.

Japan is developing in ultra speed in technology and other development fields . 55 percent of the work activities in japan had automated .Japan has more involvement in robotics AI apart from military purposes. ASIMO projects is one of the notable one of japan.

Although japan has ageing population and decreasing workforce , AI plays vital role in Japan’s economy. But in many cases . people exclaimed that japan is not better at new inventory , but they are best in optimisation of old things and improvement. Germany is all set blend its tradition with technology innovations. Germany’s Max Planck Society , two technical universities and its leading exporting state are combining their artificial intelligence together with companies like Porsche , Daimler and Bosch. The cyber valley , as they call it , is the result of this and it has even received support from Amazon , who plans to open a lab there.

Russian president Vladimir Putin efficiently run country in all trends and making Russia as the best opponent to all other countries of world including AI technologies. In Russia both government and also private organisations equally participate in AI engagements.

Government have high concentration in military defence like AI empowered fighter jets and automated artillery. Major scientists were working on developing full autonomous robot with artificial intelligence project costing more than 10 billions.

Canada is slow start in AI technology , but managing high performance in AI field. At first they struggle more for funding of AI but after 2016 government get to know the importance of AI and made more investments.

Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) follows new AI strategy that is the collaboration between researches in Canada’s major cities. India is the fast growing and developing nations which currently get lot of transformations in its digital space . Their innovations rate is mark up to 230 percent and it keep on increasing. Among those AI become important one.

India mainly focus on research , healthcare , agriculture , educations and transportations. NITI Aayog’s discussion paper on AI “National Strategy for AI ” has changed the view of AI development and planned institutional frameworks.
